Seventeen-year-old Manon has run away from home. She has travelled from the Swiss mountains to Belfort in France. There she makes new friends and fights for a place in the local ice hockey team. She plays better than the boys, but her aggression puts a spanner in the works. Only when she is able to release her inner conflicts does the path open up for her biggest dream: a professional ice hockey career.
